【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesasemi-staticmethodforthedeterminationoftheeffectsofcontaminantsongrowthandsurvivalofyoungsnails,usuallyHelixaspersaaspersaMüller.Theanimalsareexposedviathecutaneousanddigestiverouteusingatestsubstrate(artificialornaturalsoilaccordingtotheobjectiveofthestudy)towhichdefinedamountsofthefollowingareadded:-Substancesorpreparations;-Soils(contaminatedorofunknownquality)orwastematerials.Astaticmethodmaybeimplementedinadditiontothesemi-staticmethod(optional).ThismethodisdescribedinAnnexA.Thismethoddoesnotapplytovolatilesubstances,i.e.substancesforwhichtheHenryconstant,H,ortheair/waterpartitioncoefficientisover1,orforwhichthevapourpressureisover0,0133Paat25°C.Thistesttakesintoaccountthepossiblechangeinthetestsubstance,preparation,soilorwastematerialbecausethetestmixtureispreparedandrenewedevery7daysduringthe28-daytestperiod.
